Jemima is the founder and director of Jemasen Early Explorers, bringing over a decade of experience working with children and youth across a variety of settings. Her work spans daycare centres, group homes, school boards, Sunday school programs, and orphanage volunteer work—giving her a deep understanding of children’s diverse developmental needs and family dynamics.
Jemima holds a BA in Child and Youth Studies with a minor in Psychology, as well as an Early Childhood Education diploma.
She is also trained and experienced in supporting children with special needs, building individualized plans, adapting environments, and using communication systems such as picture exchange.
With a strong belief in relationship-building, Jemima’s approach centers on trust, respect, and creating learning spaces where every child feels valued. She is passionate about the Reggio Emilia philosophy and uses it to guide child-led exploration, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences.
In addition to her academic and professional background, Jemima has operated a childcare program for several years, gaining hands-on experience in program development, family partnership, and business leadership. Her vision for Jemasen Early Explorers is to provide families with a warm, safe, inclusive home childcare experience grounded in quality care and strong educational foundations.

Jill Justine is the Coordinator for Jemasen Early Explorers. She brings over seven years of hands-on experience working with children and has a broad understanding of psychology as a science. Jill is trained and experienced in supporting and mentoring children with and without global developmental delays. Additionally, her finance background strengthens her administrative and operational skills.
Throughout her career, Jill has worked across various settings, including childcare centres, group homes, day programs, and respite services with outreach support. As a coordinator at a childcare centre, Jill is responsible for overseeing daily program operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children in accordance with protocols and policies, and supporting staff in implementing developmentally appropriate programming. She monitors children’s progress through monthly reviews, collaborates with families and external professionals, and helps develop individualized support strategies where needed.
Jill also supports staff training and mentorship and ensures that program policies and procedures are consistently followed. Her role involves fostering positive relationships with children, families, and team members while promoting an inclusive, responsive, and high-quality early learning environment.
Our providers operate as independent contractors while receiving ongoing support from our agency. We offer coaching, mentoring, resources, and continuous training opportunities.
